Sebastian Trelles
Game Design & Prototyping
Hey there!
My name is Sebastian Trelles, and I'm a Principal Game Designer from Uruguay.
I've been working as a game designer for the past six years, and involved with games for the past ten years, both studying and developing.
I'm hands-on when it comes to game design, as I have a software engineering background and work experience that helps me implement the ideas on paper. Brainstorming, pitching and prototyping game ideas in small, agile teams is my trade.
I live in Barcelona, Spain, and I'm working in several game projects at SYBO. I've graduated from MSc in Game Design at IT University of Copenhagen, and have worked in teaching for several semesters, at IT University, the Danish Design School, and The Animation Workshop.Work Experience

Game Designer in SYBO Games, where I've been involved in many projects.
PITCHING AND PROTOTYPING
-Most of my work here has been in creating a prototyping process in order to gather and explore the different ideas in the studios.
-This involves brainstorming game ideas with other designers and creative leads in the company, pitching concepts to the studio and founders, and executing quick prototyping cycles in small teams, to measure potential, in a variety of different mobile game genres. Playtesting builds with the studio, iterating on them, and documenting the process, as well.
-Unity and agile are used to generate quick prototypes in 2-man teams, wearing different hats, with a strong focus on gameplay and game feel.
GAMEPLAY AND META
-I've also been in charge of planning, designing and prototyping gameplay and metagame features for two other games: Subway Surfers and Blades of Brim.
-I've worked to create and balance a healthy metagame in these games, analyzing player behaviour with data analysts, and working together with engineers and artists to create a great experience that engages players.Cape Copenhagen
